It was about 1976, and a song came on the radio. The groove was so funky and just...perfect that I had to have more. The vocals were powerful. The sound was familiar yet fresh and new.

24 year later and they became cool again, but back in those days there was no bigger band, and no more badass sound than what they were making. Most of the stuff they are famous for now is written by other people, but before the sex, drugs and rock and roll took their toll Aerosmith was the king of rock.

This song deals with road life, sex and the knowledge that sooner or later it will kill you if you don't chill.

Oh CHRIPES!  1976 I was 14? and working my first job at a gas station.  Didn't Star Wars come out that year?  But Toys in teh Attic was THE SHIT.

It's a good thing Aerosmith figured it out, dried out & dropped the drugs to make a great come-back!!!
