Ok so here is what Ive got for ps3 so far

Metal Gear Solid 4 guns of the patriots
Battlefield Bad Company
Soul calibur 4
Little Big Planet

I'm looking for games that have split screen multiplayer like halo 3 that where you can have two people go online at once same server type of thing.
So far I'm interested in call of duty world at war and resistance 2 if anyone has them can  you vouch for them, are they any good. Any other games are appreciated as well and even if it is not multiplayer and it kicks ass plz let me know of those as well i dont want another soul calibur 4 on my hands man did that suck.

PS: the reason I want split multi I got a bro and can be very annoying to wait for turns.

Resistance 2 singleplayer is pretty meh, but then again the only good singleplayer console fps is the timesplitter series (for the simple fact that its not serious), however the coop mode and online competitive are both split screen and are both fucking awesome for a console fps.

Havent played world at war so cant comment on that.

They are adding some multiplayer to burnout paradise that is split screen i believe, however i think the "addon" will cost extra.

Motorstorm 2 if you enjoy racing games. It has split screen but not split screen online. But online races never last more than 5 minutes so I don't think turns would be that bad.

thanks for the suggestions but racing games aren't my thing I think I might get Resistance 2 and does anyone know anything of cod 5. Doesn't it have split screen for online i know its got coop and zombie mode but I'm wondering if the actual competitive modes also have split screen.
