Explains the 10 dimensions. Very interesting. Totally fucked with my mind.

I got to 7 and was then too confused to continue.
That's pretty cool! I've always enjoyed learning about this kind of stuff. I'm no physicist, but it was always one of my favorite subjects. Couple years ago I took a physics class that involved relativity, and that was also pretty mindfuck-ing.
In high school, my calculus teacher posed us this:
A 2-dimensional object moving through the first dimension is perceived as a line that may grow or shrink depending on what that 2-d object is shaped like.
A 3-dimensional object such as a sphere moving through the second dimension would look like a circle that started small, got bigger, then shrunk back down again.
So, is it possible that there could be some sort of 4-dimensional object passing through our 3-d world that we've yet to recognize?

Apparently, it's aging.mtb0minime wrote:

I always knew there were four dimensions, but 10? wow.
So 7th dimension has different basic physical laws....halp
And the 10th dimension has strings? So when those cross eachother the 11th dimension should be found?? Or is that beyond us...
Wich would mean that God is the 11th dimension, cos the bible states that man cant imagine god...yet again we cant imagina infinity either, so god is at least infinity and probably the 11th dimension too.
wait, did any of that make sense

But then take all the different possibilities of what god could be and add those to infinity, then connect that to the possibilities of god in another universe and you've got the 12th!
And as for my earlier post where I mentioned what one of my high school math teachers said, of course it's time, but I think he was referencing actual physical objects. Perhaps some sorts of phenomena we experience could be explained as just an object passing through our dimension? Strange.

i'll get back 2 this when im sober...
Nature is a powerful force. Those who seek to subdue nature, never do so permanently.
Yeah, its like that alrightmtb0minime wrote:

So come to think of it, there's infinite gods too, so every religion that states there is only one god....fails?
I think that might be the main conclusion here
perhaps God is the infite dimension?Gamematt wrote:

lulz mindfuck
I don't know if there is an infinite dimension, but if there is, it would be god
No it would be Allah.Gamematt wrote:

There isn't an infinite dimension until you reach the 10th. Because it's the possible universe of ours from beginning to end, then the possible different beginnings and all the possible different endings of other universes. Then you have to imagine them as a point and how to cross to each of them (as the Möbius strip example does) and it has to include more than one infinity.
You can't get an 11th dimension because if everything possible is represented as a singular point, there's nowhere to go to.

11= god
there is this string theorie in the 10th dimension, so there's more than a dot there...TheAussieReaper wrote:

it would be dumbledore, come onThe Sheriff wrote:

Just so everyone is clear, the geometric dimensions are very different from these bullshit string theory dimensions.
