I had a similar issue when installing my new PSU, I forgot about the CPU power plug because it was hidden, I spent an hour pulling my hair out, reseating all the components, seeing the CPU and CPU wasn't doing anything...starting to shit bricks thinking I was out of a computer.

and then, I lol'd.
This happened to my friend, too XD

He built his first PC all pretty good, but it didn't turn on. I went round, and after about an hour of trying everything I knew, I realised he ain't even plugged the PSU in to everywhere it needed to go...

Idk, what does Spark play apart from eve?

None of us really have a communal game anymore.
I saw you in BF2 just the other day.

Game I play most now is COH, funnily enough.

@Computer: Still working fine. Dabbling in some mild overclocking (and it'll have to be mild given stock cooling)

You spent an hour trying "everything you knew" to get a computer to power up before making sure that the power cables were connected?

I assumed he had connected it right.

It turned on a bit, like to BIOS splash, but then just stopped.

I thought it could have been dodgy MoBo, CMOS etc.

Yeah, I should have checked the wires were all plugged in, but I didn't think it to be a PSU problem til after I tried other things first.

And it was about a year ago... I was a nub, kinda.
