BF2 Wont start

Surprise, sorry there are so many threads like this but I can't find a solution

BF2 wont start for me, I try to launch it and the screen goes black for a second and then it just goes back to the desktop. I have tried reinstalling and it wont work. Maybe its my new 4870 but I don't know what to do

I'm going to go shovel

Happened to Dauntless a few hours ago. He made a thread then deleted it after realizing people don't like him and getting no replies for an hour.

If I remember correctly he also had a 4870 too.

Delete the bf2 folder in My Documents. Sounds like reso got fucked somewhere along the line (or refresh rate). Im pretty sure that can cause it

Right click your BF2 icon and put this in target: "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1600 +szy 1050
