Ok so i tried to play bf2 on my new computer (vista x64)... xfire says "need administrator permission to run game: Battlefield 2" and when i try to join a sever in bf2 it says "need OS authority" or something like that. i dont remember exactly....

oh i only have one user and its administrator....
so can anyone help? pleeeaaasee

right click and go run as administrator

you're on an admin account but it won't run it with the elevated priveliges unless you tell it to

theres a way to make this persistent, explore the options in rightclick -> properties so that it always runs as admin

Sorry I meant, Right Click > Run as administrator...
