fucked up cartoon?
I used to watch everyday on MTV when I was around 15, and I saw it today while browsing through channels.
And man, what a fucked up cartoon that is.
Every thing in that cartoon is depressing.
And plus all that mental journey and shit and the presence of Crosses and Bible themes etc, very very not normal.
I used to love it at first, because of all the robots and bloody and violent fights but now I don't know how i didn't jump my self from a building.
Seriously........

Its not good if you don't understand it. I never grasped the whole of it ether... hmm thats probably why they release several movies and a continuation of the series to fill in the holes and that never helped ether.

I only know one person aside from myself who actually understood that anime. It really didn't seem all that compicated to me from watching the original series. The movies fucked that up though.

But NGE was one of the first anime's i watched as a kid so i'm kinda biased towards it.

That actually wasn't banned...it was from a movie that came out in 1986 called "The Adventures of Mark Twain"
It was actually a pretty good movie in my opinion; and while yes that scene might be really...well...off, it was the only weird scene from the entire movie.
