Need a laptop:

It's For:
  • For work, (ex: MS Office)
  • Media (Music,Pics,Vids)
  • Some Multitasking (like media + work at the same time)
  • Light Gaming
Minimal Specs
  • At least 2 GHz CPU (Preferably Intel)
  • 14" - 16" screen
  • Reasonably good graphics card, should at least be able to play BF2 on low.
  • Under 900 Dollars CDN
  • At least 2GB RAM (not a biggie, can always buy more)

The first one is the one under 900, I'm fairly sure it'll run BF2 since the card it has is supposedly only a tad weaker than the one I have in mine, and mine runs BF2 perfectly fine.

But, for 100 more, the second one is significantly better (in terms of graphics), though for the tasks you described, either would be fine.

pretty good actually
i can play bf2 at medium settings
res is a little low 1024*800.

Or if you do, at least get a vista disc (retail) as well.  Lenovo doesn't supply one, and if you try reformatting with their recovery program, it just means that you get all their crapware again as well.

I heard the Apple iCanuck is quite good.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity.
