I've really never noticed any difference with the top fans in any config. I forgot the front one on mine is now a low cfm intake, but whether i've had it as intake exhaust or off it's never really made a difference in temps.

Meh I just can't see the reason to get a passive cooler in the first place when the first thing you do is strap on two fans making it an active cooler -.-

Meh I just can't see the reason to get a passive cooler in the first place when the first thing you do is strap on two fans making it an active cooler -.-

It's not a passive cooler, It just doesn't come with a fan you have to add your own.

One of my favourite things about the TRUE is that it doesn't come with a fan, I want to be able to pick my own fan.

It's not that much heavier than the stock HSF.

The screws near the back take most of the weight anyway

I'm expecting a 8800GTS 512mb sometime next week, will need to flip the cooler around to fit it in the second PCI-E slot. Will be no room for my X-Fi so I will have to use the PCI-E 1x sound card that came with my case.
