Auto login problems

For some time now my browser has been unable to automatically log in on any site it previously was able to.
I'm thinking it might be cookie related as that's where I understand the "remember me" stuff is stored.
I'm using newest version of Firefox. Haven't tried reinstalling yet.

Any thoughts?

Tools > Options > Uncheck "Always clear my private data when I close Firefox"

Also, make sure "Accept Cookies from sites" IS checked.

Go into settings and look at the password manager... / autofulfill settings...

I'd reccomend you to use a master PW for FF rather than having all your PWs saved on your computer for everyone to use

Why don't you save your bookmarks? I always do that: under bookmark management>make a backup copy

Pff, I just uninstalled it completely because I had no idea where the problem might be.

I meant 7 saved bookmark backup files containing xxx number of bookmarks. Sry might sounded confusing.

mozbackup tbh (it saves EVERYTHING including addons and extensions, it's so godly)

I tend to not go back to bookmarks too much, like alot of the time I bookmark things for things that I don't even have(Started bookmarking SLR guides 6 months ago) but I pretty much always end up reformatting/reinstalling/whatever and I don't backup because if I did my library would be as massive as the Google database, so it'd be pointless.
