My friend has this huge stereo system downstairs in his house, his computer is upstairs. We want to play music from his computer on it. Aside from constantly burning cds or uploading music to an mp3 player, is there a wireless transmitter or something we could use to get his pc sound to his stereo?
I know , I stared at it for like 10 seconds.Sup wrote:

called like airtunes or something, but it probably only works with itunes.
Alternatively, get one of the itrip-like things, but one that uses a 3.5mm jack (you plug it into your speaker jack and then you tune into the right frequency at the other end and listen to yo shit)
Belkin do something similar too.
There are loads of them out there.
Some stream off t'interweb via wi-fi - usefull if you, and mates, and other people you know and might visit, have a wireless router or you're in a wi-fi cafe and you want to annoy the other customers with load music.
Some stream straight from your PC - which'll be faster, more reliable, probably better quality, and you have access to all the music on your PC, not just those tracks you've uploaded to the streaming service - but you lose the ability to use it anywhere.
Eeermmm...
