Nah I loved playing this game for 600hrs +. It was a great game and lot's of fun...
I knew how much time it was going to take from me. Most of the time I'm working when my friends aren't and they're working when I'm not. The only days I really do anything are on Friday and Saturdays and ever since college started and I'm living at home while most of my friends went out of state, I'm home a lot more often. I'll be the first to admit, I play a lot of video games, but mainly because there isn't much else to do. So knowing full well that I play a lot of video games, I was encouraged to buy this game knowing how much time I'd spend on it because I'd rather pay $50 for a game that will keep me entertained for well over a year or play less but pay more for several other games I would play in that span.
Hell no, it was the first PC game I have ever played and it is still awesome, infact I reinstalled it two days ago. And I wouldn't be on this site without it

Yes, I wouldn't have learned most of the things I currently know about computers.

I got into BF2 after watching the Mine videos by Snoken. I got a cracked version, played a few SP games (which I still have the end-of-round scores for ), had lots of fun then went out and bought it.
I got the game 2 years and 4 months ago and have put in 2186 hours - so 3 of the last 28 months has been spent playing BF2. If I never got it, that would would have been spent on CoD/CSS/etc so I'm not too fussed about spending so much time on a game.
