I didn't get a space ship that doubles up as a handy blue ink pen. WHAT THE FUCK!!!!

I got all my wishes
I got all my wishes
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
I didn't get any new boxer shorts. I actually needed some, too. Now I have to go buy them myself. Hrmph.
I'm feeling charitable so you can come over and play with my 10 year old Swedish hooker. I got a sweet deal on her.Jenspm wrote:

I'm wishing for this thread to get closed for Christmas. Delete my post if my wish comes true
You'll have to wait a whole year. Xmas is over

Good thing my birthday is coming up in 1½ month
Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
I have one on my desk next to me... unplayed for months because I don't take it with me to Uni Haha, suckah!-MetaL* wrote:

@ Max... Wow, you're clueless! Haha. Nice to know you play piano, stick with that, you're clearly not very clued in on synths. The microKorg is one of the best portable and MIDI-compatible analogue synthesizers around, price:performance ratio. Awesome piece of kit.

Nice! I played that synth before but it cost a bit more than the microKORG the micro is just what I need.james@alienware wrote:

It's pretty much modern spec, but of course a MIDI controller trying to pass itself off as an analogue synthesizer is going to style itself in an 'old school' manner. It just looks like a usual mini-synth when you remove the dorkish and hardly-used vocoder; if you look closely to live band footage and stuff you'll see that tons of rock/indie/metal etc. bands with electronic elements normally have a microKorg involved in their act, beeping and whistling away.ghettoperson wrote:

Aesthetics don't really have much to do with instruments anyway... some people think the Telecaster is an aged 1960's throwback, it doesn't stop it from being an all-time classic guitar with a gorgeous tone. Function > Form.

I don't know, I think certainly some design elements from that time were great, however computers were not one of them. I guess it appeals to the guys who want to recreate 2001:A Space Odyssey in their bedroom.Uzique wrote:

It's an analogue synthesizer not a Star Trek soundboard. You can make ambient, drum'n'bass, techno, IDM, industrial... anything you want on it. Literally anything considering it's a MIDI controller and therefore plugs into any VST module you want. Think of it as an intelligent keyboard; or rather as I prefer to see it, a keyboard for people that cannot play keyboard but instead can make cool-as-shit sounds with expert knob twiddling skillz0rz .
