Can't register my new iPod Touch

I am trying to register it through iTunes but when I put in everything including the appropriate area code and phone number it still says:

"You did not complete the entire form. Please enter your phone number area code."

I tried 301, I tried 1301, 1-301, (301), 1-(301), 1(301), etc

What am I supposed to put?

It's cause you bought an iPod Touch.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Why do you need to register it?

You don't need to register it. All you need to do is link your iTunes account to your iPod. And that happens when you first plug your iPod to your computer with iTunes open.

You're better off using another app than iTunes for the iPod.
iTunes just plain sucks. Not the touch though!

(atleast winamp has support)
