Help me pick a stereo system guise

I decided to upgrade my PC audio system. I currently have Logitech Z-2300. I need a 2.0 system. At first I was thinking of getting active monitors like http://europe.yamaha.com/en/products/pr … ers/hs50m/ but then thought they might not sound good enough for audio listening as they are made for audio creation. the first ones are 150€ per monitor the mini system is 900€

I got to play with one of these in a store, WHAT A JOKE >.<, I've never even touched a DJ mixer and this disgusts me, the main crossfader was patchy, breaking apart, and a billion other things after it's been on display for 2 days, and no Pitch Bend.

M-Audio Studiophile AV 40 look interesting. Will read the review and see if they are good enough.

In all seriousness, since you seem to be leaning towards PC style speakers, try the Logitech X-540 I have em, and they're great. The price lies though, the go for about $80 on sale here(Some store ALWAYS has a sale on these)

lol no the ones I have now are better than those. I want a 2.0 system monitors.
