So, my problem is that my internet speed is inconsistent.

The actual times vary, but my internet is fine and pretty fast for 5-10 minutes, then it gets slow for 5-10 minutes, then it get's fast for 5-10 minutes, etc.  This happens regardless of whether there's someone else using the internet in my house.

I'm running Wireless, and I'm running Wireless Zero Shutdown.

Wireless Zero:

Wireless Zero is a windows service that searches periodically for wireless stations.  This search creates lags that disappear by shutting down Wireless Zero!  Unfortunately, Windows is unable to connect to wireless devides without that service, so Wireless Zero Shutdown is able to control the service to ensure a lag-free connection.  So you can use the Windows wireless option and the lags disappear!"
I had this problem before I installed this program, which is supposed to help, so I doubt that it's the problem.

"ping www.google.com -t" and keep on eye on the _ms time.  it should stay pretty low.  To get out of the ping, press CTRL+C.  It will also tell you your average ping rate.  If you have the IP address of your favorite BF2 server, use that in place of google.
