So, I recently got my hands on two industrial-grade mega-UPSes, of 3kVA and 6kVA. Enough power to run one and two normal homes.

The 6kVA has two battery packs the size of itself, too

That heat blower uses about as much power as 4 normal gaming computers.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. I get it for free/cheap by putting ads in the paper. In a month, I've gotten 6 of them.

And they/I don't use so much power. My computer eats perhaps 250W 24/7, and the UPSes might take 20-50 total to charge when they're empty.

With a capacity of 220Ah a piece, these two-year-old beasts contain four of my current "big batteries" EACH, have a safe 5-second discharge current of 1.5 kilo-amps, weigh a stunning 80kg a piece, have a short-circuit current of 3500 amps, a maximum charge current of SIXTY AMPS. Which is a lot.

And there are 20 more if I want.

These babies will provide hours, hours, hours and even more hours of runtime.
