I figure there must be one in every city; a Gratefull Dead tribute act.

Cubensis does the entire catalog of Dead tunes. I am pleased to count the drummer/singer as one of my oldest friends. These guys always draw a good crowd and have played over 3500 paying gigs.

i saw the dead when i was in high school once. terrible music imo. and the crowd......well you know. these guys sound good i guess. be more impressed if they made their own stuff.

yup, the dirty hippies high on acid and shrooms.

The Deads music is better than the crowd that frequents them. While they are a friendly, sharing bunch, I always feel a little dirty after being in a crowd of them.

Cubensis doesn't just play Dead tunes, they channel them and it's uncanny at times how they sound better than the dead ever did.
