Ha you don't say? I was up in Lauderdale for the holidays and I must say the weather was quite pleasant compared to what we usually get. But after all it's still winter (with 80 degrees outside if we are lucky).Poseidon wrote:

Georgia and Texas are much hotter than Florida. Plus we have the fucking humidity.
Especially South Florida. Seriously.
Savannah was nice, Fort Lauderdale was like a fucking bowl of soup. Yes. A fucking bowl of soup. That's how humid it was.
That isn't winter.Xblade-3o5- wrote:

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
For us it is
But Poseidon, if you do move down into Florida I'm sure you'll get use to it. I came back from Chicago a couple of years back, sure the transition was hard, and bearing some days with scorching heat wasn't fun, but in the end I managed to adapt and now whenever we get temperature reaching the sixty's I have to grab a sweater and hot tea.
