Pretty much never (though EndWar was okay), but it's Ensemble...I've got hopes for it. Most have the previews have said that the control scheme is very simplistic and easy to use. We shall see.DoctaStrangelove wrote:

It will fail. IT WILL FAIL HARD.
Well the problem is if the controls are simplistic than the gamepleh is probably as well.Poseidon wrote:

That's the reason why console RTS sucks, they are either to simple to be any fun or to complex to control well.
Knowing how Halo is Microsoft's prized child, I'm sure Halo Wars will be well done. I'm keeping an eye on this game as well as Hawx.
He's talking about the fiscal-business year, i.e. people return to work for a new (tax) year in September, when balance sheets are closed and so on. In a gaming sense though we are obviously talking about Q1 in the normal seasonal-calendar respect...Kptk92 wrote:

Q1 = Jan, Feb, Mar
Q2 = Apr, May, Jun
Q3 = Jul, Aug, Sep
Q4 = Oct, Nov, Dec
What are you on kyle?
I'm looking forward to TF2 updates and Empire: Total War. Gief!

All a game needs is a well done trailer for it to sell.What do you think how EA pushes NFS?

Like I said in my above post: Need For Speed is dead to me,, has been since Carbon.. NFS Most Wanted is the best NFS ever created! (not the best in relation to the time it was released, but the best one out there today!) followed closely by Underground 2 ofcourse.blah wrote:

Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
I must disagree with you. IMHO, Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 was and still is the best NFS out there today. If you haven't played it I totally recommend it.FloppY_ wrote:

I played a ton of it back when I was younger and abit this year aswell.. It is great tbh, but it just can't compete with Most Wanted when it comes to absolutely destroying the police, and the intencity of pursuits in MW is far greater than what those 2-4 sluggish police cruisers in HP2 can provideXblade-3o5- wrote:

And You have no options of Vehicle Customization in HP2...
The GFX quality also peaked in Most Wanted, doesn't seem like EA has done much since then tbh...

Yep, nice and simple so zerg rushing will be the only viable strat.Poseidon wrote:

YAY! I really do fail to see how this is going to work well unless the control scheme stems entirely from the two analogue sticks, trigs and shoulder buttons and the control stick buttons.
Otherwise it will still be too clunky to use effectively.
I'm really hoping for the best out of Halo Wars but I'm expecting it to be a failure.
Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.
