Is there any programs or anything out there that can use audio files to replace microphone input?
For instance in Ventrilo I could play a file off my hard drive and it would seem as though that's what I'm saying....kind of like a "Virtual microphone", if you will.

I know nothing about any of this. Pretty much want something like Half Life DJ (http://www.hldj.org/) but that I can play in ventrilo for music, etc.

1. Double Click Volume next to your clock.
2. Options > Properties
3. Select Recording
4. Make sure "What U Hear", "Stereo Mix" or "Wave" is ticked.
5. Click OK.
6. Tick "What U Hear", "Stereo Mix" or "Wave" to Select it.

7. Set Vent to Voice Activated.
