Help me overclock my CPU.

First off, I'd like to overclock my CPU to about 3.5Ghz hopefully.

I've been reading through guides likes freezers and many more, I have a small overclock tried so far, but I need to check with you all to make sure I am doing it right.

So far I've done 3 small MHz increment increases, ran Orthos for about 10 mins after each increase will no errors.

At stock my CPU FSB was 1333.
Ram is untouched.

I have not adjusted any Vcore or anything like that yet. Them options are still set to auto.

Mobo-P5N-D

Ram-OCZ 8500 1066MHz 4gb
GFX-1GB 4870
PSU-Tagan 700Wat

Now as I've inceased the FSB from 1333 to 1363, on this SS it shows it at 3.16Ghz : 3.24Ghz; is this CPU now running at 3.24Ghz or still at stock 3.16Ghz? I'm not sure how acurrate the Vista thing is on this. Cause on CPU-Z it still shows at 3.16Ghz.

Also, from these SS, is my Ram running at full speed? the 1066Mhz which I think it's ment to be?

First of all set all the voltages manually. Try with Vcore 1.3V and memory at 2.1V

Since you have an nvidia chipset you can just set the memory to 1066 and independently raise the FSB.

CPUz shows you at 3.2, which is right (340FSB x 9.5)

Your final CPU speed is FSB / 4 x 9.5.

Put FSB to 1474, and you need to get your RAM up to 737 MHz, if your RAM can't handle that, you can't reach 3.5 GHz.

Put CPU voltage to 1.4V and RAM to 2.1V, if you can get that stable, lower the voltage one notch at the time until it's no longer stable, then put it up one notch.

Also, use Linpack instead of orthos, much better to stress it, 10 minutes of Linpack is about the same as 24 hours of Orthos.

Have upped the Volts and changed the Ram Mhz. Going to make the changes to FSB now.

Ok guys, we hit a stalemate here. For some reason the FSB I enter will not actually set to that FSB, example. In my bios. x9.5 x 369 should give me about 3.5Ghz, now when I boot up my comp, this is what I'm getting on CPU-Z. In the bios it shows it as 369 not 342.
