I suppose that the subject should attract the vehicle-haters so here we go:

Well I've got to say to all you vehicle whiners: The battlefield series is not your averange FPS game.. it has vehicles - FOR A REASON!

You dont like vehicles? - go play CS! end of story.

Most of you are probably snipers too..

I really hate it when I look at the score and see that ~50% of my team are snipers - and we are loosing.

I say "Come out and fight like real men! (or women if thats the case)"

And yes - I know this is in the complain section. However I'm not whining about BF2 - I'm whining about people like you!

I like vehicles because they give you more firepower and greater mobility, but they also call more attention to you. Personally I never get in tanks or APCs on maps when the good jet pilots are out, you just don't stand a chance.

Vehicles are fun, especially jeeps, driving round in circles banging out some "Phat beetz" on the horn is a great way of relieving tension when one is having a bad round. Plus if there were less Snipers and more AT, Tanks would get battered a lot more often. However, Snipers are super leet and hardcore; because they have sniper rifles and stuff, so that won't happen anytime soon.

There was a point to this post, originally, but not a particularly compelling one.

Yep. That's right. Then they will call you a spawn camper/raper, whatever. Spawn elsewhere or keep spawning on the top of the tv tower to improve my score. I don't like the term spawn camper, I prefer flag area suspression. lol.

oh yes, a nice round of karkand going on, its intense, infantry fighting, defending your flag...everyone havin a good time, then some little gayass in a tank comes rolling down the street in a tank, cant hit anything with his machine gun so starts blasting the ground benith foot soilders with his cannon..ruins the whole fight..atleast take tanks outta city maps.

Thing is some of the best fights i've had in battlefield have been in BF2SF on that map with the Submarine Pens, no armour, helis or jets, just lots of CQC fighting in them Pens.

Don't get me wrong I still love using vehicles as you can probably tell from my stats.

But it is fun just fighting infantry against Infantry.

This is kinda new to me...
I thought people used to hate "vehicle lovers" or whatever (and they were usually called whores...).
But hate people who dont use vehicles.... strange.
Well for myself I dont really use ANY vehicles, and not because Im too dumb to pilot them, but because I like to be a sneaky bastard . I snipe a lot, and no I did not start sniping after patch 1.2. People can have vehicles when capping a flag but many times I can take them out and then it is ME who is called a baseraper or even a camper (well yes calling a sniper a camper is kinda controvesiary). There are exceptions of course: I cant do shit against tanks/apcs/planes/and 9 out of 10 times helos.
I dont hate people who like to drive vehicles.It is their choice.Same goes for those who doesent drive vehicles.

Don't you hate it Z-trooper when a post intended to fire people up turns into a creative discussion?

I love vehicles!!! They should have had a couple of helis on Karkand - that would be pain!

And I further agree that BF2 isn't the ordinary FPS game, and that vehicles play such a large role is what makes this game good.
(This is incidently also why I dig EF - they actually had the nerve to put more than two tanks on a map, crazy people )

Personally i have nothing against vehicles but it depends how full the server is! If i am in a 32 player server on a 32 player map and the server is full then i really do not mind that vehicles are used but what i dislike is when we have a server where it is 6v6 on a 32 player server and all 6 opponents are in planes, choppers or armoured vehicles while i am my mates who are mainly infantry go as infantry. Then is flesh versus metal very boring and results in us leaving the server.
I dislike maps like "Ghost Town" in such cases because most of the time those pilots and drivers are irritating in vehicles but the alternative is nothing better because they disappoint as infantry also. Most vehicle players i met are pathetic as infantry tho!

I love vehicles. out of 600 hrs I've spent 25hrs in a tank and 24 in transport. In other words I look for the other vehicles when they kill me at a spawnpoint, I know they are still going to be there raping others so I get my Jihad going. Sniper, nah (even though since the patch came out I became claymore whore, I admit it), my exclusive is Assault, then Medic reviving all you turds that get sniped.
