BF2S Forums .PAK file type..

You can download the tool PAKScape, or just unzip the .pak with Winrar. If you can't get it to open, rename it to .zip first.

EDIT: Oops, thought you were asking how to update the .pak's.

Yup.

Also used in some Quake 3 games (MOHAA series and I think COD 1-2).

Targa PNA-E3530 (christmas present) - turns out it uses Tele Atlas maps, however their site does not include targa in its Portable navigation section.  It seems that maps are not standard across devices as I thought, so i'm going to have to leave it for a while and see what happens, the current maps that my device uses are from april 08 so it's grand for getting about..
