As all Americans know, over-the-air signals will be switched to digital according to federal law by February Second.

I was just wondering if anybody has had any experiences with their boxes, and if you guys can give me any suggestions as to which (coupon-eligible) box to purchase.

I know this is a very detailed post and probably doesn't concern most people. Nevertheless, help is appreciated!

I thought this was only for people that still use an antenna. If you have a regular cable plugged in to your TV, I think you're fine. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, that's correct. My family doesn't watch alot of TV, only sports and some shows every once in a while. It's not worth our while to have cable.
