Because Asus makes quality shit, it looks way sexier, and has better specs.
The two things I know ASUS for are their motherboards and their video cards. In laptops both companies are not very well known.phishman420 wrote:

Specs - for the price I paid, I got a laptop with 7 hours of battery life (off a 6 cell battery) and a 120 GB HDD. No I don't want Asus's shitty, slow, small SSDs. 1.6 GHz Intel Atom, same as any other EEE PC, along with 1GB of RAM. Practically everything was the same for a lower price.
