While I play BF2 for fun and have a blast, I also sometimes feel like its a job. Gotta maintain the level of excellence...SPM needs to keep going up...K/D needs to improve...gotta get 5 pistols klls for basic pistol ribbon...gotta spend more time in ground defense to complete my ribbons...gotta win this round so i can get war college ribbon...etc...etc...etc!!!!!

Anybody else have this constant feeling that while there is joy in BF2, there is also a good deal of stress?

Sometimes when I want to kick back and relax and I look at my computer I say: "Nah, not BF2...that's some stressfull shit".

Know what I mean?

You know...that's the sign where you just have to drop Battlefield 2, and say, "Damn it, this is taking over my life."

You know it's time to stop playing Battlefield 2 when it begins to feel like a job more than a game.

Stress! I'll tell you about stress!! I've busted my balls the for the last 4 weeks bringing all my kits up to veteran status.

Finally got the support kit to veteran today. I'm glad that's over. I hate playing support.

The good thing is when I get my Combat Infantry Medal, I should get my Marksman at the same time. All I need is the time requirement for the Combat.

Now, I can go back to having fun playing Medic and SpecOps..........until I start working on my command awards.

I only play 2-3 hours a day so its not life consuming. Its either BF2 or TV.

But it sometimes stresses the hell out of me, as well as annoyance, confusion and frustration.

well you'll gonna feel the same if your going for the expert support like me now
I felt the same frustration in my start time but now as the light maching guns are so accurated... i enjoy it.

Well the same for me BF2 or TV. But I know i played to much. I'm so lucky that there is no medal or badge I had to run for. Every next thing seems impossible to reach for me.

The good thing on this situation is, you can enjoy the game even more now.

I had that feeling when trying to get to 1st srg as fast as I could, cause I really wanted the L96. Now I'm just trying to keep my SPM on the rise and get my K/D ratio above 1 (damn learning curve)
