So i need a new mouse, my razor copperhead ive had for the previous year has a really poor left click, you have to push down on the right area to get it to register, clearly shit when playing fps and rts.

So I was thinking either another copperhead, deathadder, diamond back. Can people with experience of using them give me some advice on which is best in terms of comfort and response. Any other mice are also acceptable.

Test them out in the store. See which one fits your hand the best.

Probably the ONLY person here with this mouse, but I went out on a limb when I bought it almost 2 years ago. I have a Wolf King Trooper and I LOVE it. It has a firing selector, so if you want to fire in bursts with a single click, you can do single, double, triple, or quad. The DPI is also selectable from 800, 1600, or 2200. I absolutely love it and its price is much lower in comparison to many of Logitech's offerings.

To give you a testimonial of how good this mouse is, I dropped it and the left click button popped off and I had to reseat it. Did it after being very afraid of breaking it but it worked perfectly. As I said, this mouse rocks.

Wait wait wait wait. You're telling me that you can configure your mouse in such a way, that when you click once it fires 3 or 4 rounds?

Pretty dumb and not necessary IMO.

G5 FTW.

Yep.

And Phish, in pistol rounds on CS or using any pistol for that matter, it is pretty bloody useful. You have to practice with different weapons and whatnot, but it's typically very nice whenever the situation calls for it. Good for low caliber weapons whenever the range is a bit wider than it should be. Works good for rifles, too. Like I said, takes some messing around with to find your own personal preference, though.

Put it like this, when I first got it, I played with 1600 DPI on CS 1.6 with a sensitivity of about 1.5 and I noticed a much higher number of headshots compared to my old optical mouse.

Deathadder tbh.

Have purchased (and used extensively) G5, G9, Deathadder, Copperhead and a few generic mouse and the Deathadder blows them away.

G5. Simple yet sufficient, comfortable and good software too.

I agree with ebug, really depends on what feels best. I tested both G5 and G9 at a store here and went with the G5 because it felt better.

I've had my Copperhead for at least 3 years...no problems whatsoever.  Then again I click exactly where you say you HAVE to click, lol.  My hand sits at an angle since it's more comfortable (since it's an ambidextrous mouse).

I have it. Can't say much about Razer's, but it's better than G5. At least in my opinion.

Another mouse debate, this is like the X360 VS. PS3 threads, only there are more options...

Best Advice: Go to any computer store and test out the mice they have on display, find on that feels nice/fits your hand and is in your budget.  There isn't mouse that will "improve" your skill--it will only make playing the game more comfortable.  There is no "supreme" mouse, it's what you like the best.

Personally, I use the G5 for it's simplicity, hand-fitting shape, and the DPI switcher.  At $60-$70, which is a little pricey, it does everything I need it too do, from browsing the web to playing BF2/CoD4.  I'm not going to sit here and praise about it and try and convince you buy one, I'm just listing what I use, and for what reasons.

That's rather nice ... what did you pay for that???

That's what I love about all you guys that say the G5 and tout the software and whatnot. The Wolf King Trooper? NO SOFTWARE and IT COSTS HALF THE PRICE! (and has better DPI resolution). You guys are paying for the brand name, that's all there is to it.
