So, sometimes when playing BF2, I'll get a BSOD - Yes I've tried to google the errors and have come to no post that has the same problem as I am having.
I have:
Asus EAH4850 GPU
Asus M2NE-SLI MB
4 GB Kingston RAM
550W CM PSU
AMD X2 ATHLON 6000+ 3GHZ DC
I get:
win32k.sys (Page_fault_in_non_paged_area)
Adress BF807BAA BF800000
-
ati3duag.dll
Adress BF447700 BF1D3000
-
ati3duag.dll
Adress BF2BF6B9 BF1EC000
-
USBPORT.sys
Adress F71526D4 F7149000
No recent hardware changes made, what I have done is:
Installed the latest version of ATI drivers
Installed hotfix for ATI
Installed hotfix from a link aimed at fixing the ati3duag.dll BSOD
Now, from what I understand - 3 separate BSOD messages means there should be one underlying cause that's not necessarily related to any one of those files.
Now, I can't for the life of me remember what I changed in order to prompt these BSODs, but if it's any help - at the exact same time these BSODs started, I also started to get CTDs (Ones that aren't because of a server restart).
One more thing to note which may not be important and just coincidence, but prior to the BSOD, I turned fraps on around 10-30 minutes before, and I don't believe I've had a BSOD without fraps recording, however I shall check today and see what happens.
Any help appreciated.
