after downloading and paying for two Euro upgrades, suddenly I cannot play with two machines at the same time. Have had no problem since july. If one machine is playing, the other cannot. Won't even update server list. I bought Euro under two different accounts. No problem with regular bf2 and/or SF, but I bought them retail. I think that PB is seeing the same IP and not allowing two connections. How can I fix this. I already reinstalled and re patched, no help. I'm so pissed off I can't see straight. HELPPPPPP
My Son Uses One Computer, And I The Other. Why Do You Have To Be So Insulting?? I'm Only Asking For Help. Jeret's Opinion Of You Seems To Be Accurate. I'm A Virgin To Forums And Jerks Like You Leave A Bad Taste
I thought that you could not use the same CD Key on line at the same time anyways. Did you get 2 copies of each, or one. If one, what hack are you using anyways?
Also, if what you are saying is true, then Internet Cafe/Lan Gaming Centers could only allow one person to play EF at a time.

Perhaps you shouldn't delete? Just wipe the text and replace it with "---DELETED---"?
That way everybody will see who did it... And a thread won't lose all sense

that's not exactly true, any good internet cafe/lan gaming center would have a comercial connection, and in turn would have multiple IP addresses....dubbs wrote:

that being said though, I highly doubt that EA would cause people to have to get multiple IP's or conntections just to get online w/ multiple accounts, I know if they did that, I'd not bother buying another online game from them.....
however, this COULD be a bug with EF, and you may need to wait till a patch comes out....
Thank all of you for your politeness (except the first guy). Fixed it myself. Rebooted the modem and router did the trick. Fixed connection problems too!!!! Now I'm pissed that I wasted two hours re-installing the frikkin program. DUH!!!
It is great that you got the issue fixed.
It would be cheaper for Internet Cafe/Lan Gaming Centers to purchuse T1 or T3 (1.5 Million and 45 Million bps) line(s). (These can be considered a commerical connection but it still only gives one IP to the backbone) This will give them one IP per line to the Internet, then subnet their systems behind a gateway/router. Purchusing multiple IP address from a ISP would cost way to much, and they would also have to subnet those connections also, unless they got one per workstation.Lengoron wrote:

Don't... could have been a part of the solution as well.... After a forced reinstallation on my and, BF2 is currently running like it is being hunted by a pack of hellhounds with a really bad attitude...oldesarge wrote:

Pre Installation:
Load Time of BF2: 5 Minutes
Load Time for a Map: 2 Minutes
Verifying Client Data: 5 Minutes
Post installation:
Load Time of BF2: 2 Minutes
Load Time for a Map: 1 Minute
Verifying Client Data: 30 seconds....
Go figure
