I want to get this going, but I've been quite busy. As feared from the start, we're in lack of donors. Probably scared-off by the anti-fah posts here.

I have a spare C2D system and a P4 system sitting around here. The C2D is working and I'd prefer to keep it, but the P4 is missing a few pieces (RAM and HDD) and I'm not entirely sure if all of it's parts are working. I'll try to get some parts in the next week and test it, but if too much of it is screwed, I might consider sending any working bits off to someone here for FAH.

Put me down as a "possible donor".

No case, no hdd, no optical drive and no PSU. I'll have a shuffle around for other parts i may well have, i always have intentions to make use of them but i never do. I like the idea of folding but i don't wish to use my current rig to do so and we also try to be energy efficient in my house so i can't run another base unit.

Only reason it's spare is that my motherboard has only one IDE connector, and I needed an HDD and an optical drive, which were both IDE, so I couldn't link the both of the HDDS without an optical.

you don't need to worry about performance. It shouldn't affect you day-to-day operation and if you're something that needs loads of performance you can always shut it down for that time

There is a client for linux, in many regards better than the windows one
