Why does everyone call it the noob tube? The gl actually takes some skill to use
Does not at CQC, maybe if you are doing it from 40+ meters yes, but otherwise, no. Even still, it takes a small amount of time to master.simmy.uk wrote:

And it used to be way more powerful (and whore-able)
not really

I love my tube. Takes way more skill than spamming nades, it's awsm. Ak-101 / Ak-47 / F2000 + GL ftw!
It does take more skill than claymore or grenade spamming, as you need to actually make your shot count...
I usually find that the people who cry 'noobtube' are the same people who throw 4 nades or 2 clays down before they think about using bullets
M16 + 203 is a fun combo.

Because the remaining battlefield 2 player base is largely 14 year old Dickhead's that can't stop playing because they have put 3000 hours in for stats. That said the bf2 community has always been somewhat whiny, but that's what happens when the game has the learning curve of PacMan and can be played by anyone in less than an hour. Ignore them, laugh and carry on. Or get admin and do what 95% of admins do and ban when it suites you personally.simmy.uk wrote:

Lol I agree with you, I do use the "noobtube", an useful weapon when your enemy is 1 meter next to you or a group of enemies but it is not the best weapon, I don't really like to use it even if I have skills with it, everyone know how to handle it, even a 7 year old kid( I tried with my parent's friend son with the bots since he plays another first person shooter game).jord wrote:

Learn how to play like http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=OeT_UlSY2kQ in under an hour. It takes months to be even close to that good.jord wrote:

And if he got killed a few times by a GL I'm sure he'd be having a nice little moan, as is the case with most "pro" players. God forbid anyone use anything other than the generic ak47/m16.Mint Sauce wrote:
