Ronaldo could cope well in any league, I'm pretty sure if Messi was to play in the premier league he would never reach the standards he has achieved in la liga, he would get bullied off the ball.

For example, that wonder goal he scored against Getafe, he would have only get 10 yards before someone takes him out in the premier league.

Therefore I rate Ronaldo higher, because of his strength (apart from when he starts rolling around on the floor)...but I'd still prefer to watch Messi playing in la liga any day.

One thing is for sure, they'd have a great time playing "let's roll around on the floor" together.

That is so much bullshit. Messi ripped Manchester United apart when they played. Granted, back then his finishing was not as good, but Evra couldn't cope. Ronaldo? Where was he against Barcelona? Oh yeah, closed out by Zambrotta, a 31 year old who should have half the stamina of Ronaldo.

Messi has no strength? Have you seen him lately? The guy is a bloody machine. If there was ANYONE in the world who would be capable of scoring a hattrick against Real Madrid it would be Messi. Ronaldo, against a solid team, can get completely closed out of the game. Messi cannot.

Ronaldo fully deserved to be named the best footballer in Europe and the World. For 12 months can we stop questioning it now? Ok its only an opinion a bit like we are expressing but its a voted opinion.

My opinion is you ask all the coaches in the UK who would you prefer in your team, Ronaldo or Messi they will pick Ronaldo. Man City get a load of wedge who do they get linked with, Ronaldo not Messi. Its seems its mostly our opinion, the media's opinion and now FIFA's opinion that not only is Ronaldo the very best, he's also better than Messi. That don't make Messi shit, he just dosen't measure up to the standard Ronaldo has set.

One of my main sports is cricket and a big part is trying to get your opposistion to loose concentration, stop figthing your team and pick up the personal battle against you. This is what Ronaldo did when he winked etc back in the days. Good enough, mission acomplished, only people from the UK seem to moan about it. Its stopped people talking about the guy who rolled like he'd been shot when Beckam lashed out vs the Argies.

Rooney was almost in trouble again the other week for his Champion league stamp and then something in a league game. His reputation goes before him. Not only is he an amazing footballer he has a hot head on him. He's a fantastic finisher, and an excellent CF, bit like Tevez. Both of these guys played plenty of football last season scoring lots of good goals. However, Ronaldo (playing behind them) out scored them.

I only support Cardiff, Wales and then England in that order so fairly un biased but I have seen plenty of Messi but would still prefer Ronaldo in my team who I consider to be a better footballer. I would expect Man Utd fans to pick Ronaldo and the 1 Barca fan here to pick Messi.

Someone do a poll to tell us what we already know. The majority of people consider Ronaldo to be the better player.

Its like saying the song at posistion 2 in the charts is better than the current number 1. It could be, but most opinions disagree.

Godfather - You can find live streams of games on the internet but I genuinly don't know how. From what I gather they arn't 100% legal, not sure.
