If you go back a few pages, it's the promotional artwork/screenshots. I suppose those rapelling images could've been development screenshots.

I'd say its a mod. I dunno where the map is, but couldnt you on special forces throw you little grappling hook in there and climb on it while its flying? Just a thought. lol
If you look at the other screen shots, it shows the early BF2, I rember seeing in a interview Dice had planned to have rappelling from helis in the game, but took it out due to some errors..
Rapelling, (absailing where I'm from! ) would be a nice feature given the fact that you have to stab the parachute key a dozen times as you jump to your death.
They were going to include it in the game, but took it out because of bugs and errors. Also, players wanted to use their parachutes more anyways as it was much faster to get to the ground.
That looks just like DC for 1942.
I agree with you, looks like DC Barash edge map, the mini-helico is the OH-54, but I can't remember if there was rapelling in this mod. Maybe it's just a screen from a BF2 adaptation of BF1942 DC mod.-DS-Carbon wrote:
