And yes, that's why you global score is less then your combat score.

I get lots of tk's for three reasons:

1)  don't forget that arty used to also give you tk's before the old patch (i got quite a few commander hours logged in)

2) i play almost always as engineer which means anti tank mines which means lots of tk's.  d'you know what its like to be commander and strategically lay mines to protect your base and then get kicked cause a vodnik with four people runs over your mine?  i swear that engineer is the most thankless kit...you get crappy team points and have the shitties gun and the anti tank mines are serious point drainers.

3) finally, there's the tk's from running over people who happen to jump in front of my tank.  what can i say except that there are some suicidale folks on bf2:)
