Hello all I've just downloaded 7, but unfourtunatley there is no support for my motherboard! Well I can't find any! I have installed 7 and tried to get drivers but I guess that the mb is to old and not supported! So if any one wants a key then just pm me and you can have mine, I have used it to load 7 but as I couldn't connect to the net I don't think its activated, but I could be wrong? Anyway it's there if you want it. Happy new year ya'll

Edit: Sorry all, but someone has contacted me about the key which I have provided information for, hopefully no problems will ensue (Don't know if that is spelt correctly!) So please don't pm me anymore

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
Perhaps in RTM, but AFAIK Beta 1's is identical to Vista's install. Your only options areScorpion0x17 wrote:

Use the Gnu Partitioner, it can shrink partitions aswell as alot of other related tasks...(gParted) is the name... free, and it works.. remember to do a defrag before you run it though...Scorpion0x17 wrote:

Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
Well, fixed the Left4Dead issue
changed the startup line to ""C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch 500 -h 1200 -w 1920"
Seems to work fine now.

installed this last night, have barely scratched the surface, but so far I like what I see.
by the way, in the getting started, under whats new with windows 7, it says you can drag your page to the lower right corner to make all pages transparent, this isnt working for me. Anyone else?

Drag your cursor, not page .Nic wrote:

Annoying feature for me, because when I type - on instinct I push my mouse to the bottom right to get it out of the way.
Double post lolol.
Strange question, but does anyone else randomly get an almost 'happy' tone every 30 minutes or so? I don't seem to know what's influencing it.

I like sticking all my W7 wallpapers on 10 second swap, so every ten seconds my taskbar changes colour. Tis nice.
Anyone got a fix for running CoD4 MP & other PB games?
Just worked out it's the MSN noise every time I get an email.Finray wrote:

I play cod 5 on windows 7 sometimes. What does it do when you try to start up PB games?Hakei wrote:

Running BF2, I get either:
- Kicked by PB (need to try that fix)
- Computer locking up in some funky way requiring hard reset

i did that with my collection of 20-30 :awsm: wallpapers <3Finray wrote:

i used to do that with vista before the whole mishap but now i can't find the right gadget. my timer was about 15 minutes or so.JoshP wrote:

"people in ny have a general idea of how to drive. one of the pedals goes forward the other one prevents you from dying"
Make sure you run in compatibility mode for XP. Vista has that problem too, so I'm sure Win7 does.Sydney wrote:

Never had any problems with vista, but I'll give it a tryCrazeD wrote:

IIRC it's not natively supported in Vista (desktop changing on a timer) like in W7, yes? Still a very good feature thoughhaffeysucks wrote:

in other w7 news, midtown madness 1 doesn't work
although it is 10 years old, so meh I might make a new partition and install win98 for lolz and play a load of (semi-)retro games
