Ok, so I open up ventrilo, and I can't see it on my desktop, so I minimize/restore it on the taskbar, still no luck. I try the move command on the taskbar, my mouse goes to the absolute top left of the screen and has the little move cursor, but dragging it does nothing.

I try closing and opening vent, still the same problem.

How can I get to something that isn't even on the screen?

all i can think of is a reinstall.  did you change your setup to use two monitors when you only have one?

I think this trick should work:

Right click the ventrilo tab on your taskbar, select move. Without moving your mouse (critical), use the arrow keys to pull it back on screen.

Vent can't maximize.

Having same problem with task manager also... I can maximize it, but when I minimize it goes back off screen

My state was founded by Batman. Your opinion is invalid.

Nice. I've never needed it, but I'm sure by the time I do I will have forgotten
