gtx 260 stock cooler runs cooler than hd 4870 stock cooler... comparing toxic cooler and nv stock cooler gives some degrees win for the toxic of course but that really doesn't matter with temps less than 90c...FloppY_ wrote:

The 4870s run cooler aswell with load temps @ ~65 degrees..

The cheapest 4870 1GB is more expensive than the GTX260 c216 I'm getting, and it doesn't fold even nearly as good. Plus, nV cards are right now better than ATI on high resolutions. Being a 1920x1200 guy, that's something I take any day.
@Mek: My current specs can be summarized into one word: Unstable. I paid 30€ for it.
