How about they both have their bad and good points. You should try to avoid doing them. But it's totally your choice just don't let it consume your life. Also don't try to make other people's decisions by banning them for everyone.
Get over yourself, this is a honest question, not a poll to annoy you.usmarine wrote:

I honestly would rather deal with a person high on pot than drinking because they tend to alway be mellow and you don't get the " violent drunk " retards.
But, I would rather have Alcohol legal than Pot because Alchohol is more difficult to use and less likely to become addicted too.

Seriously though, as with anything, too much of a good thing is bad. In moderation, both weed and alcohol are perfectly fine. But when you start drinking too much, or smoking too much, bad things happen. I don't know if one is worse than the other.
PS: What's the difference between a drunk driver and a stoned driver?
Spoiler (highlight to read):
A drunk driver runs the stop sign, a stoned driver waits for it to turn green

Alcohol kills more people each year than all the illegal drugs combined, but its a taxed drug so therefore in the eyes of the law is acceptable.

that makes no sense. if it was all about taxes then why wouldnt they just allow pot for more tax money?smuder201 wrote:

alcohol is defo worse
Rational scale to assess the harm of drugs:

Data from The Lancet shows Heroin to be the most dependence causing and most harmful of 20 drugs...check where booze and pot are too.

I think the Politicians realise it would be a bigger drain than you could ever make taxing it. Hell, there isn't enough parents with basements in the US for legalising Pot.
Fuck Benzodiazepines are worse than alcohol?m3thod wrote:

It's illegal to be drunk? Really?
Please see the chart in this thread.Lotta_Drool wrote:

Alcohol is a lot more addictive than pot.
in public yes. i mean, you can smoke pot at home and be just fine...just like being drunk.ghettoperson wrote:

Public drunkenness is a criminal offense, but it is generally only enforced in cases where the person is being an ass (or when the cop is an ass).ghettoperson wrote:

Pot is easier to get hooked on. No hang over and instant gratification like smoking a cig. I don't care what your chart says, the only reason more people don't smoke pot than drink is because it is illegal now.Turquoise wrote:

In the same sense though? As in it's illegal to be drunk anywhere, just in your home you're not going to get caught? Pot obviously being illegal everywhere, just you won't get caught in your home. Is that the same in most countries and it just isn't really enforced, or is it only the States where public drunkenness is illegal?usmarine wrote:
