If you've been up to date with blizzard, they said themselves that SC2 will be out BEFORE D3, so whenever SC2 comes out, you can wait a year or 2 before D3

I heard months ago that the engine is pretty much complete and they are just adding content.
Actually their might not be a beta for D3, but there will be a beta for SC2
