7/10. I know it's critically acclaimed and all that bullshit, and I consider myself as a person with excellent taste in film and appreciator of the art, but geez this movie... I don't know. It started off great, got better, and then shit hit the fan. And hell, even after the major turning point with this impossible event occurring, I was willing to suspend belief and go with it in hopes of a payoff, but there wasn't.

Very similar to Hostel in terms of scenario - if not the same. Some hot chicks in thar though so a fiver it is.

Been watching it every now and then for the past 22 years and now it's become an important work of art, strong piece of symbolism, and excellent commentary on society, culture and life, to me.)

the best scene of the movie was jolie walking out of the bath room. that tells you something about the movie. one very nice moment, the rest of it felt like a movie that was too action-y.

i saw that last year in class. i kept falling asleep through it, but i was pretty damn tired that day. it wasn't that bad.
