My character is in the early-70's and has had about 5 hours of playtime since WotLK release... which doesn't change the 'truth' of my statement, to 'play' an MMO is an entirely different matter than to 'try' new content upon introduction.

You can ascertain how 'good' the content is not only by playing it, but by speaking to people that have active level 80's as well as reading WoW-related websites. I don't really think you're proving or triumphing over anything, Armory search my character, stalk my Xfire Profile... do what you will, I do not have a level 80 and do not (and in fact, cannot for the majority of the time) play WoW at Uni. Even if I did it wouldn't insult or upset me, in my opinion with the lifestyle most Uni students live, it's the best time to take up an MMO. I just prefer other pursuits now, not because I'm too cool, but because the game has gradually worsened since original-WoW and I no longer find it entertaining. No secrets in that?

My brother has recently gotten addicted to the WoW. He used to make fun of me for playing computer games. Today he had the day off of school, and I got out of bed at 9:00 and he was sitting playing WoW. At about 10:30 I asked if he wanted to go to Circuit City, we went to get some stuff because of the 10% off and what not. I bought DVD's, he bought the latest version of WoW.. He then asked if I could stop at Game Stop on the way home, which we did, he bought a 2 month subscription thing (Do people really have to pay $15 a month to play this game??). Got home at about 11:30 he sat down and played WoW until 1:00 to eat lunch. After he played until dinner and has been on since then. I think he only got off once, to take a shit which sent me a picture of it with his phone.....

I do not want to play WoW and I refuse to play, because I know that if I play I will never leave my bedroom.

To be honest though, one of the terms that WoW certainly did popularise into a common-term for gamers is "Epic!!!!" to signify anything good or favourable.

Haha what strange-ass pigeonhole-isolate world do you live in? Do you really subscribe to labels such as 'FPS Leetz0r' and 'RTS Player'? Is it not possible that someone that plays PC games plays more than one genre, and is hence exposed to more than one 'sets' of jargon? With you it's almost as if MMO, RTS and FPS are like mud, blood and water. There's no difference by-and-large between the stereotypical 'player' of any genre.

Yes I label everyone. Label label label it's all I do. I label my milk by the colour of the cow. I wasn't in any way talking about people usually coming from genre backgrounds and therefore not being exposed to the community of other genres.
