I remember seeing a time ago a series of, ohh, about five or six picture in a series as a poster that shows portraits of Lincoln throughout his presidency essentially showing how he aged something like 20 years throughout if several years as president. I've tried Googling but with no luck. I don't know if it's just what I'm searching or what but if anyone could find it (or something similar) I'd be much obliged.

I've read some articles that have claimed his perceived increase in age was due to drug use, but there wasn't much supporting evidence.
I've had a quick look but couldn't find the photos your after, one of the US members are sure to know where to look though.

There probably wouldn't be much info on that topic, however what we precieve as heavy use of illegal drugs today would have been considered quite normal in those time, especially with the fact that those drugs weren't considered illegal and the lack of understanding in the biochemical fields in that time.TheAussieReaper wrote:

It probably has a lot more to do with him being in an extremely stressful job during one of the most trying times in the nation's history. Not to mention they didn't have multivitamins or antibiotics or even that face cream you little metro teenagers like. People aged quickly back then.
Except those pictures don't help me here.Hurricane2k9 wrote:
