Nice! My friend has a mac... I use it sometimes. It's pretty good, but you really have to get used to it...
in b4 anti mac guys come in and rape u, slowly, then, fast, stop for a bit, and then do it again.
For day-to-day use, it's usually easier.
But anything outside of work documents, GarageBand, video/sound/photo editing, email & web browsing and you're screwed.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. Yep, CTRL + CLICK = rigth click, IIRC. Also, you can plug in a regular mouse (with two clickers) and it will have the same functionality.kylef wrote:

Reason I don't have a mac is because of the limits of their software and hardware. Paying $2000 for a limited selection of games, mediocre laptop hardware, and "controlling" software doesn't appeal to me. Sure, it's sexy looking, easy to use, and very glossy, but I'm the type of guy who troubleshoots his own questions, builds his own computer, and gets his bang for his buck. Does a mac offer this? I think not.
Whenever I use OSX I feel like I'm only using 4% of technology.
macs are for people who can't think for themselves
