hi everyone!

so, as the title says, im in need of help with EXCEL.

imagine the following:

if was to receive X amount of money every month, but at the same time have some % taken off of it, how can i make EXCEL calculate how much money is left at the end? the % dont change, only the X amount im receiveing. bascially im asking how to

X (changing every month)
-% (of X)
-% (of X)
-% (of X)
=???

thanks in advance!

p.s., i google this stuff, didnt find anything that helped, but if you have any good links to sites explaining this kind of stuff i'd appreciate you telling me

Follow this tutorial to work out percetange in Excel: http://www.internet4classrooms.com/excel_percent.htm
And then in a new cell type: =SUM(now select all the cells you want to be added and keep these brackets)
