So Xfire just updated:
Added a web browser to Xfire In-Game. Hit Scroll Lock + W while playing any of these games to test it out:
http://media.xfire.com/xfire/readme.html

Somone go test it and report back.

I was about to rant about how pointless it seems. But then I realized how helpful it will be to have FO3 Wikia up while going through quests, or even GameFAQs up for other games.

Too bad BF2 isn't on the list. Would make playing commander a lot more entertaining (I really gotta get that WCR)

They did?

Well, they've always had an ingame browser, I suppose. You were just restricted to the Steam site.

Always wondered why they didn't add it as a feature.

here's my quick review while playing PR

Slow, mostly unresponsive, takes way to long to load web pages when it takes second to click a link or type a web address, can't set a home page lol

great idea, it just needs some work.

That's what you have laptops for.

And a web browser? Made by Xfire? Come on. They should think about getting in-game to work properly first.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Do you have a game portal with as many users as xfire?

On a side note rogue dont work in any game i try, this after i delete the process that uses 99% of your CPU.  Even though people can still use it when that has been deleted...

Story of Xfire tbh.

It annoys me that even though the current version of Xfire barely works, they continue to add more and more features (which dont work either)

Yeah. The last time it actually worked.
