Well, considering my on-going issue with my computer, I've RMA'd my PSU and have decided to upgrade to a new one. Here are some I'm thinking of:

Ultra ULT40073 600W Modular $103

GIGABYTE ODIN 550W Modular $115

OCZ Fatal1ty 550W $80

XCLIO GREATPOWER 550W Modular $80

OR should I just get something solid like this CORSAIR CMPSU-520HX

Or, should I go for higher wattage?

OCZ 700W Modular $70 w/rebate

My specs are:

Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9 Board
AMD Athalon 64 3700+
Two Sata Drives (Coming soon)
ATI Radeon X1800GTO
DVD-RW Drive
CD-RW Drive
Front USB hub

I'm sure 500/600w will be plenty for my some what outdated system.

Corsair 520HX.... I have personally tested that PSU and I must say I was impressed.

in before Corsair 520HX.

the OCZ StealthXStream 600W gets my vote.

edit: actually, the 500W will do you just fine.

Ya, I'm liking that Corsair,

Ebug:

That one you posted isn't modular, my case is a little out dated (It has a 60mm exhaust fan and an 80mm intake...) and my cpu runs at like, 55c all the time, so i really want a modular one 2 go with a new case when I finally decide on one

OH YA, and that ASUS monitor I bought, well it was $20 off recently, so I whined about that to a customer service rep, and they agreed to give me $20 off my next purchase, hopefully it'll count towards a rebate item also...

HX520. And ebug, the 650 is identical to the 520. Just non-modular.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

No it's not. The 650 is single rail, and has more connections than the 520.
