I'm at work, and a computer is acting up. When my friend got to work, the computer was frozen, so she turned it off and back on. Now there is no picture at all. We've tried 2 different monitors, and neither get any signal from the computer. I made sure the video card was plugged in all the way. I don't really think that the video card is the problem because the computer is hooked up to another monitor through some sort of ethernet switch that I'm not too familiar with, and she can't log in to the main computer (the broken one).

do you see anything at all when you turn it on?  post or bios or anything?  if not, it really does sound like the video card... the video over ethernet works because that doesnt depend on the same means to get a signal like a direct attached monitor.  can you swap the video card with another machines?

No, I don't see anything at all besides the monitor saying no signal. I'll try to get a video card from another machine and see if that works. The reason I don't think it's the video card is because the other computer is unable to log in, but like I said, I know nothing about how they're connected to each other.

Of course all of the computers here are AGP except the one that's broken.

Will try resetting CMOS.
