I don't think the EVGA is worth the extra... it has been plagued with BIOS issues.
I think the Gigabyte and Asus are almost identical by every way. Overclocking seems to be pretty identical too. So it comes down which brands you want.
I have had no issues with this one... really loving the P6T Deluxe... it pretty much has everything... even built in Linux!

Agreed, in Iceland it's illegal to advertise price without the VAT. The number advertised has to be the price you pay to get the product (apart from shipping, which is optional)max wrote:
oh ffs. Why do they always quote prices without vat
I've always preferred Asus but the PCIe slot spacing is on the P6T fails. No tri-sli?

I remember seeing some kind of voltage settings in a few different OC programs.

On a related note, what board are you going to get max? Oh and panzer, how do you rate yours? I was taking another look on OC, and I was thinking P6T, but the Evga X58 is only £20 moar.

Not my GTX though, sadly enough
you need software controllable power circuitry, which afaik only evga has (at least for the moment - It was possible on my x1900xt). On some cards you can reflash to a higher voltage, but those options are always rather limited. +0.3V with warranty is

Yeah. You can up the voltage on 8800GTs with a whole 0.05V. Holy crap, Batman!Sydney wrote:

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
+0.3V with GTX 295 is FRYING PAN...max wrote:

you just need good ventilation. If it's got warranty I don't care if the card doesn't last. Let 'em replace it. Downtime for me is 2h maxGC_PaNzerFIN wrote:
