I think if the current idiot in charge (Which was not voted there by the people) does sell us further towards the Euro he at the very minimum would not be getting voted back into power. At the maxium his head will be on a spike on Tower Bridge!
The pound is our heritage and our history. It has her majesty on one side and symbol of Britain or a famous face on the other. I for one am not a fan of the Euro and will strongly think about emigrating if we get sold further down that horrible line.

As far as am aware, the UK is the one being most ass raped by the current situation (atleast in eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerupe). And they have managed to debace the currency from being worth $2 to the £1, its not something like $1.35 to the £1.JoshP wrote:

The entire EU is being screwed over by having the borders opened up so freely to the former Soviet Union. I agree, that is something that never should have been done. The rest of Europe KNEW what would happen and it isn't like they have offered anything of any great value. My next opinion is coming out of a Brit's mouth, though: There are Brits who would rather sit at home and do fuck all and collect social help checks whereas there are immigrants from wherever that may not speak English, but are truly trying to make a decent and honest living. Really, Britain is a unique country in the bastardised organisation that is the EU. If we want to keep our heritage, pride and independence don't get all pissy, just accept it. It hardly effects you, other than my great country significantly contributing to the value of the Euro of course..

I also think that if we can change that Humans Rights act from a right to a previlage or scrape it completely. For instance you go and violant someone else Human rights. Then your human rights will be lost untill you've served your time in Prison.
